Ingredients

  • 4 cups Dark Brown Sugar
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla Bean Paste
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Bean Extract
  • 1 tsp Flaky Sea Salt

instructions

  • Add the water and brown sugar to a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from the heat and whisk in the vanilla bean paste, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  • Allow the syrup to cool completely before transferring it to a quart container or pitcher.
  • Refrigerate until ready to use.
