Celebrate National Rum Day with the Dark & Swizzle—our elevated take on the island classic. Made with spiced dark rum, bright citrus, and a hint of falernum, it’s the perfect cocktail to cool off and impress at any summer event.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blanco tequila
  • 1/2 cup triple sec
  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup Chinola Passionfruit Liqueur
  • 1/2 cup cold water (optional)
  • 8 Jalapeño slices (optional)
  • Tajin and lime juice (rim)
  • Dehydrated lime (garnish)

instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the passionfruit liqueur, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and water.
  2. Add jalapeño slices if you’d like a spicy kick.
  3. Rim your glasses with lime juice and dip in Tajín. Add ice or a large cube to each glass.
  4. Give the pitcher a good stir before serving. Pour over ice and garnish with a dehydrated citrus slice.
Notes:

Mix ahead and chill in the fridge—this pitcher gets better as it sits.
